You definitely jump less the shorter you are, some levels rely on this especially if going for 100% wax collection. Wax level affects:
- Hitbox size (and the candle wick position)
- Remaining life timer (the countdown element)
- Jump height
- Visible light radius
I tried to have a central game mechanic that was multi-purpose in interesting ways and make levels based around understanding them.
