just played dELAUb. So good, it took a bit to understand how to play but once I got the hang of it, it was a blast. I love the idea of the guns playing off of the beat, the shotgun especially was my favorite. The game does a fantastic job at making the player feel cool. I also like how the game progresses from a snappy beat early on to a more free song where it sounds like instead of playing along with the beat, you are the beat and the song is playing along to you. Only critique I have is that the timing is too lose, its so loose that I think its harder to fire off beat then on beat. But overall I cant imagine someone in good conscious giving this game less than a 3/5, and even that would be harsh.
I wouldn't mind seeing a full release at all.

The timing being as loose as it is likely could be tweaked - I ended up making the window of opportunity bigger after having to cut settings at the last minute. I really wanted to lean into the vibe and rule of cool, and it's great to hear that paid off well!
The soundtrack for both sections of the game loop utterly rocks - the composers did such an awesome job, and them joining what was originally a solo project really elevated this game for sure. I don't think it would have turned out as well without either of them.
Thank you for playing! A full release is definitely something I am considering.
