Sadly I was unable to pick up items, but besides that, the aesthetic, ui and music was pretty sick. Would gladly play this game after the bug is fixed.

AAAAAAGGHH yeah, it looks like this is just an issue with the game. I had to redo some stuff with moving over from our test scene to the actual level shortly before the deadline and I forgot to click the "make pickups work in this scene" button in the rush (I am not exaggerating, this is literally what happened). Sucks for that to happen, I'll upload a build where pickups work once the jam's done
