I'm gonna be honest, I didn't really understand the objective or how I was supposed to clear out the cube. Of course, there's a good chance that it's just my intelligence that's lacking here, but I still think if you were to add more to this in the future, the game would benefit with an animated example or a small comic that spells out what you have to do step by step, or even just an optional tutorial button that takes me to an infinite timer section before throwing me into a limited-time situation. If you could reply to this comment and tell me how I'm supposed to clear out the perimeter squares, I'll play this again with new knowledge because this genuinely looks like a fun and wellmade puzzle. :)

Anyways, the art and presentation is really great even if I wasn't able to comprehend the gameplay loop. And the name was eye-catching, which is why I'm here in the first place :P

+1 to this. I love the art and assets of this game, and honestly it feel very snappy and good to control. I just… do not understand how to progress. I’ll come back to this game later in the jam to try again. If the creator responds with a detailed description of how to progress, I’ll give it another go. I think there is something really special here.

ok phew, so i wasn't the only one XD i guess the only thing we can do as of now is to wait and see if we get a more detailed tutorial :P

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I did anticipate this problem so i tried my best to make a little tutorial given the time i had left but i suppose it still needs more work. To play the game you're essentially supposed to have a straight row of the same color in each face, wethere a horizontal 3 square row of red or a vertical one of yellow for example, and these rows have to be connected along the 4 faces of the cube like a belt, each face can use one color for its row. Then the row in question is cleared and the cube closes the gap, exposing the bomb cubie that you have to disarm by clicking. Hope this clears it up although the premise pretty simple and gets boring quick but i am still happy to have submitted something for my first game jam. Thank you so much for taking the time to play my silly little game <3

thanks for the reply! that makes so much more sense now, I was able to get 3 bombs diffused after understanding how to play! it's pretty fun actually, because although the first round starts simple it quickly gets difficult as you lose more inputs and have to figure out which row/column to clear out so you can actually access the bomb. This is my first game jam too, and I'm sure for many others, and in my opinion this is a great effort. Even being able to make a game at all in such short time frame is no small feat! XD
