Super creative combat mechanic! Maybe it's inspired by games I haven't come across before, but I've never played anything like it as far as I can remember. I thought it was too simplistic at first, but when you get to fights with multiple enemies it requires a lot more thought. My only gripe really is that I couldn't consistently figure out at what point of attacks I'm supposed to perfect dodge.
