I was a bit frustrated at first, after some freezes and hard to understand UI (at first, then it was clear as watermelon). I've now been playing the game for 1h, and got everything ( I think) that was in. I loved it !
The most useful instruction is A and D to move I'd say, I don't think you need a lot more, the rest is quickly understandable. Just the UI that made it a bit confusing because it was hard to read / decypher at first.
Loved the goofyness, the voice acting, the god damn DOG, lots of love to Mila <3 and good job to you !

YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR AN HOUR??!??!??
Thats some dedication bro thank you SO much!!
I wanted to make like the first few seconds of gameplay clear guidelines, just helping the player through their first upgrade and getting their first unlock-able flavour, Do you think that would be too much guidance?
If we keep working on SodaPop! then we will optimise the game WAY more and so there are no freezes, also I'll be completely overhauling the entire shop design, adding sfx and heaps more - I think the game has a lot more potential if we work on it.
Tank you so much for playing and it makes me so happy to know you had fun and PLAYED FOR AN HOUR?? Thank you for the support!!! and I hope you have an AWESOME day!!
I found that it was too much information before even launching the game, it was hard to get the point. I think it was part of the fun to discover the different bottle effects etc.
But in a jam context it makes sense. maybe ? But directly in the game it would cut on the mood I think. But I'm no game designer, it was just a quick thought.
Have a great day too, and a nice jam play test week ! Cheers
Thank you so much for the feedback bro, Really appreciate it, Are you talking about the little part at the start where mila is talking to you?
Yeah trying to get reviewing as many games as I can when I get the time, bro some people are honestly making some CRAZY games, like there was one diving one that I was playing for hours and some others are just visually STUNNING, its my first jam so i'm just BLOWN AWAY from all the tallent.
