There is no set "difficulty" and once you get the controls down, its pretty easy to go on forever. That said, you can also get a bad RNG sequence for some difficult runs. If you get a long up-curve into a short down-curve into a long-empty you gotta ace the controls. Also a short curve into a medium straight with rails can be challenging. BUT, its definitely tuned to enable that "cruising" vibe for the sake of the game jam :)
