Once you get enough coin multipliers, you can just farm money with the clock bomb since you will earn more money than it costs: 
I thought "easy peasy, I'll just explode the clock 10 times". I wasn't prepared for the last level but...

Took me nearly an hour tho, especially since at the beginning I couldn't stop risking and continuing, which was dumb since I didn't even bought a single life.
