What a concept. "You are your score" taken literally, your character carries the number on their head and the leader gets a CROWN. That's perfect theme design with zero explanatory text needed.
The polish is commercial level. Neon purple and pink menu with PLAY / OPTIONS / CONTROLS / CREDITS, Hard locked until you clear Normal, a clean HUD with the live TOP 3 on the left, timer in the middle and the big yellow score on the right. The ELIMINATED / FINAL RANKING screen listing all nine placements with LEVEL SCORE and RUN TOTAL is really well made. And it feels good to play: WASD is smooth, mouse aim is precise, shots register instantly. I went from 215 to 305 points in seconds.
Two notes. I got eliminated on Level 1 without understanding what killed me, I think I took a shot from someone off screen. The camera hugs you and the map is bigger than the view, so you can get hit by a player you never saw. A minimap or a danger indicator on the screen edge would fix that. And the rule about only being able to shoot players at or above your rank never appears during a match, I only knew it from reading your page.
Your end of life note is also one of the best I've read in this jam. Built to outlive its host, no servers, no accounts, no DRM, local saves, and the web build being the whole game. That's exactly the answer. One of my favourites here.
