I like the aesthetic a lot! I think the timer needs to add less time per word and start on a higher number - I was up to 10 minutes remaining after not too long!
The default game mode is really easy but you can make it much harder in the options menu by changing the difficulty. It will change the amount of points gained per word and lost per mistake.
