I liked the pseudo-post-horror vibe going on here. I think there are some challenging interactions that make interactivity a little difficult.
* Items on the ground are too small, and too hard to pick up. I didn't understand the little tiny flour was what I needed to bake first
* Not being able to place an arbitrary item at an arbitrary place on the ground was frustrating, because...
* Talking to the Farmer can spawn multiple items... and they seemed random? At first I got some flour when I needed vegetables.
* Cook stations could be highlighted when you have something
* The countdown timer seems very short at first
* Having the countdown play mid-dialogue, I think, was frustrating. ESPECIALLY the tutorial. I also wish the tutorial was skipped on repeat plays; and I also wish there was a way to restart a run.
I liked walking around and finding the hidden nooks. I was tossing knives and wondering why that was a thing until I saw the rats.
I don't mean to make my feedback come across as purely negative -- I was entranced with the style. I think these would really dial up the game to be closer to what you all had intended for the experience :)
