Fun idea, I struggled with the physics a bit, and at times I thought I was hidden enough so was surprised I got caught, but still a good take on the theme.
Yeah I think a better indicator of what counts as hidden would be a good QOL improvement... I've definitely got enough ideas to possibly make a version two of some kind
