It's a cool mixture between pacman and snake, i really enjoyed it, some simple retro/8bit sfx wouldve sold this for me. I grew up loving snake!

Thank you for the feedback, remixing games I think will become a theme for me. I am already looking at making a defence game which combines the wall building aspect of Rampart 1990 with block dropping mechanisms of Tetris 1984  to crate a two phase game where you build then defend.

SFX will definently be the next major update I make to the game. I will aim to create something which captures the nostagic feel of a sound chip used in an old arcade machine. I want players to feel the instensity of the game increase as time counts down and to get a satisfying ping when they eat food or complete a level.

for sfx i would use https://www.bfxr.net/ especially for what you try to do, could help you a lot
