It's really not too hard to pick up, the gas leak is straight forward, the bug took me a bit before I found the hammer. But the password things is the real problem, the custom mouse art is simply too big to click on the number accurately. I didn't go further than that because the game bugged, it softlock me at the end of the day, and I'm too lazy to restart from the beginning.
But yeah the main reason that I said it's confusing is because there's no instant feedback on my action (except the bugs, I guess). So I have no way of knowing whether what I'm doing is right or wrong. I think the letter leaving it ambiguous is already good because telling straight forward make it less interesting, but definitely add something to indicate that you're going the right way.
