I think it could be a solid game, but unfortunately it took ages to load, and when it did, every time I move/shot, I would have massive lag spikes.

We unfortunately need to work on optimising for web (using Godot), which comes with a lot of lessons :) But we'll get there!
Out of curiosity, what browser are you using? I found Firefox and Zen to be painfully slow but it runs smoothly in Chrome (on my system)
Huh, I use a high end Gaming Laptop ,that runs stuff like Arma Perfectly, and Chrome for the Browser.
