are you on windows? there's a chance you might have to disable or enable an exception in your anti-virus if you trust the software enough to do that (I promise I'm not the one to put viruses in anything at least)
If you're mac there should be some instructions in the description : "(If you are having trouble running the Mac build of the game: hold the Command key -> Right click(or click with two fingers) -> Open -> Open and the game should run)"
Let me know if you figure out the issue or need more help, if all else fails then the web version might be worth playing if the performance isn't too bad !
