I saw the most recent update, saying 'It wasn't as successful as I hoped'
I think there's a few reasons. The lack of ability to save is certainly a big one. Especially considering the entire gameplay loop is 'trial and error dialogue options until one method works'. Especially when a couple of the methods are 'sleep in a specific house first.' Spending a few minutes to progress, only to screw up and then have to do the same exact things again, gets pretty bland pretty fast. Doubly so when again, some of the solutions are wild. This last piece may be purely flavor-wise, but the whole 'monobutt' figure where it looks like someone's lower half was replaced with a ball isn't really appealing. Based on that alone I would refund if I could, it's just not the kind of fat I find appealing. Not to mention when you HIT that size, you're even slower, and so waddling around takes more time, and you can't save, so if you talk to the wrong person- That being said, the writing was cute in places, the visuals are alright. Having come here from 'going immobile' I'm still surprised at the shape. I'm all for hyper ass, just surprised at the weird shape again.

Yea, that makes sense. I've tried something different with each game, so one of them was bound to fail. If you came here from Going Immobile, I can say that this game is not even close to the success of Virtual Gainer 2, which also had the weird-shaped fat. I took the monobutt angle for this game cuz I personally like it, but I get that it's not the most popular body type.

I felt that the saving was unnecessary when the gameplay loop is so short, but I understand that the trial and error becomes tiresome.

Btw, it doesn't matter in which bed you sleep in until the very end, but Solaris mentions it

personally i find body type prev used in 0.3 version far better then current one and still somehow teh jump landing thud sound isnt as pronounced as it was in 0.3 in both 0.4 and now 0.5
