I just finished so I'm kind of still digesting, but wowee! Pleasantly surprised at Anita's conversational interiority that was more examining and metacognative vs Sunny's immediate and confident thought terminations which felt like a subtle distinction in the prose despite the whole thing being kind of built around it. Also on subtlety, the design choices to evoke their respective bugs! Noticing Anita's glasses and 'antennae' ahoge against the first cg where you see Sunny's long braid, I was like oh!! A small delight in an otherwise desolating experience!
