I actually played it by myself using both a keyboard and a controller. I'm guessing that this feels better when it's two people fighting for control instead of one person deciding when to switch by themselves.

I'm guessing you put in the "press a button to steal control" mechanic over it just automatically switching to counter strategies like throwing yourself off a ledge right as the countdown finishes, which is a neat bit of foresight.

I gotta admit though, the end-of-game fanfare full on jumpscared me, it's a lot louder than the rest of the game.

Honestly even with the manual switching my younger brother still finds a way to launch me off cliffs when I swap in...
