Sorry to hear that, its set up to add players on any input from a new input device so it should have worked with controllers or keyboard and controller, was there a specific setup you used that didn't work?  (It also could be the game's window wasn't the one in focus if they didn't connect at all)

Very fun little game, I thought the use of keyboard and mouse with limited reach for both hands of the player was a really interesting mechanic, and it made the game have a bit more challenge to it (Didn't play with controller but I really hope you make each joystick on a controller be the movement for the arms because that would be so cool).  Would love to see this game turned into a longer adventure with swapping button layouts so I could get more opportunities to 'accidentally' press the self-destruct button.  (=

Loved this game so much!  Unfortunately, I got very stuck on level 20...  Very cute aesthetic and lovely gameplay.

Thank you for playing!  I definitely will be returning to this later and adding some features I ran out of time to add, which hopefully will vary the gameplay a little more (Some ideas I had were adding more turns and giving powerups if you skip an entire turn).

Honestly even with the manual switching my younger brother still finds a way to launch me off cliffs when I swap in...

To add a second player you need to have at least one controller connected and then if you press any button it will add you, you can then add a second player as your keyboard.  Hope you enjoy!

Absolutely love this game, I only wish there were more chapters so I could play more levels.  It kept surprising me every few steps as I got further in the level only to die in a new unexpected way, worth swapping to controller to play when keyboard didn't work.
