The hand-drawn pixel art sprites with the realistic, limited-color backgrounds work so well together!

I'm probably the last collaborator to thank for the artwork, references etc. But the downloadable image was my idea and my implementation! I'm so proud someone at last tells something about it. Thank you very much, kind stranger 🤗
The backgrounds where made with real free to us pictures that our artist reworked to fit the pixel and color themes. I'm not sure how he did that but I'm very sure it does an excellent job.
At first I wasn't convinced with the limited color palette but, hey, let the artists be artists! The result looks way better than anything I could have made myself. Ggs to Unau for that!
