Frustrainting and fun! would love better chances at the start to get things going, feels a tad bit too random without it

Sucks that it ended up being frustrating, my short playtest found the game too hard so I made it easier right before the jam ended. I think the best solution that I wanted to do was having an easier normal mode with an endless mode after for players who wanted more difficulty but sadly that was out of scope.
