When you jump at a Number block all Bombs who have this number currently on their countdown will be destroyed.
So you should pay attention which numbers the blocks have and then wait for some bombs to count down to one of these numbers and then quickly jump to the block to destroy these bombs.
If the countdown on the bombs is lower than the block numbers you can also jump on the bombs to increase their number so that it reaches the number on the block in order to destroy them.
