great debut! i came away from this visual novel with a strong understanding of lilith and vivian as people, and why their relationship is failing in the way it is.

i really felt for both girls. lilith's tendency to keep her true feelings to herself, because she doesn't want to rock the boat with her friends (and with vivian herself), even though her observations are incisive and hard-hitting. and on the flipside, vivian knowing how to act as social lubricant in any situation... but feeling like she's empty and vapid inside, and needing other people to confirm that for her.

and it's this lack of communication that's hurting both girls. vivian's in the wrong for breaking into lilith's room to read all of her letters (and her diary) ... but it's driven by a desire, an anxiety to learn what her girlfriend really thinks of her. and that anxiety to learn what is wrong with you at your core... it plagues a lot of us, doesn't it?
