I'm a big fan of solitaire so appreciate this twist on the game! Personally I felt like the fishing was a little difficult so took away some of my enjoyment, but it also def added a higher stakes feeling to picking up a card which I could see being a lot of fun with some tweaking! Also, was surprised when I noticed I could drop cards back into the ocean (by accident), curious what motivated that decision! Overall though, really interesting idea~ great job!

Thank you for the kind words! Glad someone discovered this, as "tossing it back" is my single favorite mechanic in the game.
With all the changes this would need to hit a more "average" play/reward pace etc., it was always going to be as much a tone poem as anything else. I feel like it really captures both "the one that got away" stories and the self-enforced honestly of physical solitaire-- just tossing a card back in the water because no one is there to see you do it. It also technically means every game should be winnable <_<
It started as a bug, but once I discovered it I fixed it and quickly added it back to be more obviously purposeful. I regret not having time for a splash effect.
