Let me clarify how the language options work in Thaluna.
The built-in offline models support English → Arabic translation. There is currently no built-in Arabic → English model.
Thaluna also does not include Arabic OCR. This means it cannot read Arabic source text directly from the screen. Neither the official Thaluna website nor the itch.io product description lists Arabic as a supported OCR or source language. Arabic is listed as a translation target language.
For English → Arabic, use:
OCR Language: English
Translation Model: English → Arabic
Target Language: Arabic
If English → Arabic is working but you are not satisfied with the quality of the lightweight built-in model, you can use an external translation option:
* Ollama
* OpenRouter
* Custom OpenAI-compatible Local API through LM Studio, llama.cpp, KoboldCpp, or a similar server
These options may improve translation quality, but they do not add Arabic OCR support. Arabic text displayed on the screen still cannot be used as the source language in the current version.

* A screenshot showing the selected OCR language
* The selected translation engine and model
* The selected target language
* The original captured text
* The translation result
* Logs from the Diagnostic build

If you meant approximately €1.99 after currency conversion or tax, that is understandable. However, if you were actually charged €199, or if you purchased Thaluna from another website, please contact itch.io support immediately.
