The idea went through lots of iterations, it was first supposed to be a story game about a game developer working in a game company, that tried to convey the message that “corporation and industry kills creativity…” and such. But I realised that was kinda sad, and there was no way I would finish it on time.

So I decided directly putting you on the game developer’s seat for you to know how it feels! Although, it’s kinda pointless, because we all already have an idea.. everyone here has submitted a game and therefore already knows how the process of making one feels like. But I still wanted people to be more conscious how tricky it is to actually manage your game in a “professional” space.

IDK if I succeeded at implying that, but the most important thing is that you enjoyed it! And yes, a typo in a line code immediately causes other 30 scripts to break. Why? I wish I knew.

Anyways, a Newgrounds release with the online leaderboard and more balance updates is planned to release after the jam, so I’ll notify you when it releases in case you want to play more in the future ;).
