The game does have an affection mechanic and point systems but these are running under the hood, and they help shape the traits others come to see in you. The thing is, they're hidden on purpose. It's a design choice, right or wrong, our intention is it to be less about chasing hearts and more about trying to make it feel like you're actually there.And how you start knowing if someone likes you? By their behaviour and they way they speak to you.
