The main thing that sticks with me about this game is the implied and stated story behind the little node things I'm trying to save. Those are game elements that are being destroyed there. Playing and failing to archive the diamonds and such as the wall advanced killing almost all of or half of everything made me feel bad for the real world games that this essentially happens to. Basically, I found that emotional. It's sad to watch the wall take things out even if they are essentially basic shapes with text by them. This also seems to be the most impactful way to use the theme "High Score Chaser" in the Stop Killing Games community jam, considering how it's all about protecting games and your score in ARCHIVISTE is based on how many parts of a shutting-down game you manage to archive.
