Been a while since I played a liquid puzzle. The puzzles seemed pretty good. The variety fills out the content well and didn’t feel repetitive. B2 took a bit to figure out and I had to write down the fractions, but the rest were doable mentally.

For dialogue changing visible_characters_behavior to Characters After Shaping to make text wrap to the next line without moving words halfway through makes it much easier to read and looks better.

There’s a small bug where the pipe out becomes unselectable if you click it while dragging a pipe.

The art is a little too noisy for my tastes, but it is interesting to look at. It would be nice if the size and goal fractions could be shown somehow without hovering over the container so that I wouldn’t have to keep hovering back and forth to see which is which.

Overall felt fun to play. Good work.

Incredibly thorough thoughts, thank you! The tip on handling visible_characters is great, the way text moved around did feel 'off' to me, but I didn't really know what to do about it. Turns out you can just do that!

Honestly kicking myself a bit for that one bug, I was aware of it and kept deciding to put it off because it was easy to just avoid and fixing it would've involved untangling some unwise code decisions made in a rush. Turns out several people have run into it, and if I'd fixed it I would've had no major bugs at all as far as I'm aware. (Just dubious behaviors like the visible characters thing, ie 'not a bug but less polished than ideal')

Thank you a lot for your thorough thoughts on the game!
