Yeah, it's not very well established, but if you keep milk in your inventory too long, it spoils and eventually turns into cheese. The only way to get rid of the cheese and get more milk is by eating all of the cheese (There may be multiple, so click multiple times)
Oh thank you! Yea the fact that milk shows how much you have but cheese doesn't is what threw me off, I ate like 6 cheese before assuming it was just bugged lol.
