Ok so I gotta say, while I do really appreciate the idea of replacing the AI art with real art and think you should do it, I personally found the AI art you used pretty sexy, and am not personally as big a fan of the new style. Is it possible that for versions of the game going forward to have both sets of art, with a toggle in the settings to switch between them? I'm sure that creates some extra work for you but I think it might be a good way to showcase the real art as the primary option but leave the AI art there for those who prefer it. You could even put a disclaimer to say it won't be updated at all so you don't need to render AI images for new characters.
