There’s a good mood here. The lighting glare is especially nice. I think it might be a bit too dark around the player? I’ve made a game previously with moody lighting before and while I like it I wonder if sometimes you need to pop a light in the player so that their immediate area is a more clear. Or if not having a light maybe some more highlights just so you have some white/near white elements to balance the gloom.

Ok I double checked and there is a subtle light. I think youre onto something - but I also think its tricky to have something dark while still providing usable visible detail.

The foreground elements provide a cool parallax. I was wondering if the foreground beams would work better if they had some holes so they didnt totally block the view of the player - but also you do only put them where the player is walking - so maybe thats fine as is.

Anyhow in case it isnt clear I really liked it! You just wanted more feedback on the art so I just wanted to share some thoughts.

Thank you so much for the feedback I really appreciate it ^v^

and for the foreground elements I only added them at the very last moments of the jam since I run out of time I thought that the camera focus will blur them but the post processing that I used it only blurs the far objects

Which I didn't expect I was gonna remove'em all but didn't have much time to decide so I just left  it as it is

Thanks again for the feedback and I will for sure improve in the future ^v^🫶

Def worth leaving in. They still work as giant concrete blocks and the jaunty angle still adds some style
