Out of the first batch of the jam games I've played, this is the one that has most gotten under my skin. Felt like it was a solid mix of Tell Me I’m Worthless and Funny Games; the apartment as its own character, the eerieness of navigating a lived in space that’s not your own, skipped over and redacted violence as the surroundings slowly decay. Suzette is a standout, you’ve capture a very real menace, her fear of sharp knives and immaculate air as she invades a home. Pauline sees the warning signs on the walls, but sometimes a girl captivates you with her evil charms.
Love how contemporary and precient your works are (including the prof. lily vns). I’m still chewing on the conclusion (along with the title), the clattering noise snapping the situation to it’s end, a clarion that reveals the true positions of the cast. I think you really fit within the guidelines of the jam’s theme too. Definitely felt myself growing more claustrophobic while reading, especially with the growing pile of chairs by the door. Maybe running a few errands will help a bit. Welp, on to buy some beef…
