Yay, I'm so glad you enjoyed it and want to see more! This was actually just a bit of a test run for a larger game I've been wanting to make for a while where you'll get to sit down to every single session with him, and all your questions will be answered! I hope I have the chance to make it. :)

I'm thrilled you liked his design! I'll definitely pass on your kind words to Dax! She really knocked it out of the park with him. His micro-expressions were so important to his character, and I was grateful she was willing to paint so many so I could go crazy. Funnily enough, I originally suggested a prison uniform for him, and she was like, "I have a better idea!" And who was I to argue with her genius? I was so in love with the final look!

Thanks for letting me know about the browser version issue! I'm not sure what could cause it to do that (this is only my second time making a browser version of a game), BUT...it could be the simple fact that Session 17 is much more asset heavy than Cyanide, and maybe that's causing it to choke for a second. I'll see if I can squish the size down, hope that improves performance.

I'm sorry, I don't have a Tumblr or any social media, really. I mean, technically I have a twitter, but I never think to use it. Maybe I should make a Tumblr? But I might forget to use that, too... Thanks for asking, though! :) It makes me so happy knowing that you're interested!

Oh yay! I'm so glad to hear there's a planned expanded game, fingers crossed it can be made. I'll (impatiently) look forward to it!

I suppose for an in-game reason, he could still be wearing a prison uniform, just that the top part is rolled down and tied around his waist, making his undershirt visible? If that makes sense. That's what I see them do in movies/TV shows anyway lol.

Also I just realised the title...so this is the 17th session, and there are usually 2 sessions a week, meaning it's only been ~2 months since they first met & the 1st session.

Yeah I saw your twitter account, and I don't use twitter much either. There are some indie otome & amare VN devs on Tumblr (including for some "yandere" games, although idk if you'd categorise this as such). No pressure to make one since social media isn't for everyone, but if you do feel like it at some point you could post: a masterpost with links to your games, progress updates, game release posts, asks answered about games, etc. Some post frequently, others infrequently, it's totally up to you. A couple I follow as examples:

I fixed the browser version! I don't know if there was a bug in my Ren'py version, but I updated it, rebuilt the web version, and that seemed to fix it. I tested it out on Firefox and was able to get it to open to fullscreen, so hopefully it works on Chrome as well. Let me know if you have anymore issues!

Yep, he's wearing the prison pants already, so I just figure he left his shirt in his cell. :P I'm sure no one at the prison cares if he wants to walk around that way. And you're exactly right, they've known each other for two months at this point. :)

You know what's funny? I looked at those accounts you linked and it turns out I do have a tumblr! I completely forgot I made one back in 2020 for my first VN, but then never did anything with it. I'll poke around it, get my profile properly set up, and maybe try to start posting some game updates!

I just checked and the browser version on Chrome works perfectly now!

Oh that's funny, I searched before when I was looking to see if you had a Tumblr and somehow missed it. If you do set up it, you could link it on your itch.io profile & game pages, and make a devlog on one of your games so that people following you here will see it and can follow you there too if they want.

Yay, I'm so glad it's working! Thanks for checking!

Aahh, that's because the tumblr was originally for a sci-fi VN I wrote back in 2019, so it was actually the name of that game and not my creator name, haha... But if when I get it set up, I'll do as you suggested! :)
