I just read Puppy Girl Dog Fighting, and I really liked it! The art and atmosphere were gorgeous, and the story felt so tense and so real. Dot's emotions came through beautifully, and I couldn't help but let myself be stuck in her shoes. The feeling of being trapped in a cruel world, the pain of rejection, the daydreaming about what could be. I find myself thinking of those things a lot, and PGDF helped me feel seen in that way. Also, this is definitively the hottest VN I've read so far. The girls look so soft and yet so strong too. I found myself daydreaming along with Dot. I might be biased because my gf is very similar to Onyx. :3

Was "Chain Gang All Stars" an inspiration for this? If not, I think the writer would really enjoy reading it.

thank you so much for the kind words ♡ dot hasn’t gotten a lot of love so i’m glad you can feel the intentions i wrote her with — longing for something different in a way where you can see different realities unfolding before you, knowing they’re going to slip through your fingers if you don’t hold on tight… all the while fighting a history of learned helplessness. i put a couple of drops of my partner in onyx, too, so it delights me to hear you say the same ♡

funnily enough, i haven’t read “chain gang all stars” but i’ve seen it around while doing my research! it’s on my list to pick up, thank you for the rec!!
