I found this a really interesting take on the theme. It's another "die, change, continue" kind of game, but here the focus is entirely on transformation rather than simply coming back to life.

I especially like that the game takes place between two states of being. The whole pilgrimage feels like an in-between space where you gradually Molt, leaving your old self behind, until you're finally ready to wear a Mask and embrace a new identity. I think that's a very strong symbolic use of both ingredients.

I also enjoyed the idea that each chamber presents a completely different kind of trial. It makes the process of creating your new self feel much more personal than simply overcoming physical obstacles.

I'm curious: have you had the chance to playtest it yet? I'd love to know what kinds of bodies, identities, or Masks emerged during play. 😊
