Edit 12 days after post: I put in a help ticket last Sunday, it is now the next Sunday and there as been no response, at all. This game is fun, but do not count on any help from support.
Have an open API key, installed it once and it worked great, in 2024. Came back to the game to run an API key and now, nothing, always day dreaming. Also used a new, funded key.
Does it only work with certain models? Also is their a guide incase I did it wrong?
Hi FluffyPants-senpai! AI2U runs on default models, but the itch.io version exclusively supports OpenAI API key integration as an alternative for players preferring their own keys. Players using their own keys are responsible for managing their keys’ usage, payments, etc. and may need to reach out to OpenAI Support directly.
In case your issue is occurring in AI2U despite using a valid OpenAI API key, please email support@alterstaff.io with more info and we’ll look into it!
How long does support usually take? I emailed on Sunday (and did not expect a Sunday response), now its early Wednesday morning and I still don't have a response?
Currently 4pm on Thursday, have time to play, can't because the server is down AND OPEN API keys don't work. Edit to that: Using the API key seemed to make the game think the server was down until I restarted it a second time. So that's 4 business days with zero response to my help request.
Your idea is great, please respond to the support emails.
Most likely final edit: Its the following Sunday, with zero response from support. So that's a full week with no response from Support.
Game is fun, just hope you don't need help from them.
