Regrettably, I didn’t come across any bug like this during any of my testing not the play testers either. It sounds like the characters may have moved too quickly in a previous level and the momentum ‘carried over’ during the scene transition so you ended up what you shouldn’t be. Try restarting and moving slowly and carefully into the starting area of the previous level and see if that helps? Apologies for the inconvenience!


Also re download the latest version of the game in case something went wrong there. 

Based on your instructions to "move slowly" I disabled "Always Dash" and the issue went away.  Interesting.  Maybe that's also the issue I'm running into with TKLCOM?  Fascinating that dashing, or having always dash on, would introduce bugs in your games.  I wonder if that's an artifact of the game maker engine you are using?

That’s so strange! I have always dash on when I’m playtesting. I wonder if it’s somehow related to refresh rates on certain monitors, but I’m not sure. The important thing is you can continue playing! Enjoy.
