Ive played previous versions before, but I feel like it's only fair to leave a review for this seemingly final version of the game. The visuals are very nice and pretty much every character caters to a particular preference. The progression usually works pretty well and I thought the recomposition phases on some of the later characters were an inspired choice. Trying to make the faces more consistent is a commendable effort and works for the most part, although some characters like Abey and Bey don't look quite as good as they did before.
The interface is smooth, easily navigated and does a very good job in never letting the gameplay loop get too tiring. This is another positive I have to underline: The game does not have any grind to speak of. It is practically bombarding you with new content and never feels the need to artificially slow down your progression by increasing the time you need to invest.
This brings me to the characters and "story", although the game does not focus on the latter very much and that's fine. Abey was my favorite before, so the introduction of Rachel as her sister and rival was really cool, especially with Rachel ending up bigger than her sister. I was a bit sad that Abey lost the "biggest in the gym" title and neither her nor Trish were able to reach level 10, but something like that is ultimately your call, of course. I was also hoping for the resolution between Abey and Rachel to be a little more wholesome, because as it stands right now I feel like they still kind of hate each others guts.
There are two things I was actively missing while playing the game. The less important one is that I was hoping for one of the ladies to represent a more strongwoman-ish bodytype with very little definition and more sheer mass, but I do understand that the possibilities when working with an AI model are limited. The other, more important one, is that I hoped there would be more choices for me to make. Having route options for characters as you recruit them is nice and all, but I really hoped that some characters would let you guide them on their path and allow for a little customization.
All in all though, this is an excellent game that I can't help but recommend. I'm really looking forward to whatever is next, whether that is further work on this game or a new project altogether.
