I think infinite mode could really benefit from random events exclusive to the mode, to compensate for the lack of story mode events. I understand this would take time and resources to do, but I feel it would really add to the mode, as frankly I'd argue that you're pretty much in the current state infinite mode once you complete story mode, so there's hardly a point to actually play infinite mode. Perhaps even some infinite mode exclusive items that are tied to these theoretical events?
