Update: it does work with an Xbox controller, although when playing with the joypad/HAT to move turning seems a little stiff, like it’s easy to miss turns sometimes if there’s a straightaway in front of you. Has anyone else noticed this?
I feel like should be clear, it’s not your fault if it doesn’t work under Linux, WINE or no. I am just providing a data point, letting you know how it works, in case it is useful.
