I launched the game and was a bit confused at first, I think a round of came and went, and I didn't realize I was already playing. The visuals and audio of the game felt right to me, I particularly like the first iteration of the monster's appearance, just two little dots in the darkness. The controls felt clunky, but I don't think that's a bad thing, considering the theme of the game. I think that it's even possible to add more complexity to they player's controls, like having a pseudo "cinematic platformer" (og Prince of Persia, etc.) style control scheme, where you have to climb on top of the buttons, or otherwise jump from button to button. One thing I noticed while playing is that the difficulty of the game plateaus once you reach 5-button patterns. It felt like the only thing stopping me from reaching some sort of kill-screen was attention and personal stamina.
