Wow, it's so powerful despite the short length. (There's a joke in there somewhere...)
The wind and droning base bgm gives it a contemplative and painful atmosphere. The same kind of kind of dull and constant discomfort that reminds me of my own dysphoria.
The argument felt like one I could have with myself in the course of my early transition too, that despite all of my hope for love and protection, it's not something I'll always be able to get. I could feel the POV character's disappointment in that realization too. I wanted to tell her how much better it gets with time.
