this is so lovely.. wonderfully terrifying.. the visuals and sounds are beautiful and evocative.. the story is scary and visceral, so very good.. also. i don't have any of the symptoms described in the screening, but i had still been diagnosed with some form of EDS, due to dislocations in my knees starting from my teens when i grew a lot.. so, that part of the story hit close ><; i've had that experience before when i was super sick.. i still kinda doubt my condition, but, i even have a doctor who does have hEDS, and she says it sounds correct.. ^^; um anyway.. i love this work! much love!
thanks so much for reading, i'm glad you enjoyed!! i'd defer to your doc's experience; the clinical criteria isn't perfect (they're updating it later this year) especially the beighton scale. it doesn't check common problem areas like shoulders, ankles, and hips so some docs have separate checks for those too. without an actual genetic test for hEDS yet the presentations are pretty varied
