This was really really good, you can see how much detail you put into the atmosphere, art, story and over-all everything!
The descriptions of each situation and place were so well-written and I could really feel and understand the main character and their perspective, you could almost feel and imagine yourself in their situation. I liked the way you alluded to things in the story without outright saying them, like how the prisoners couldn't collect rain water from the prison and how you described them warning the survivors at the grocery store.
I'm going to try to shorten this so it's not 1000 words itself lol. I loved how you made the background, I was very clever given the one-background restriction and very detailed. I absolutely loved how the endings were written because they captured exactly what they needed to. I like how both endings almost seem like they were cut off, you never really know what happens after the ladder ending, almost because it's a mystery for the main character too and the ending for them is uncertain. In the window ending, it makes a lot of sense and doesn't feel like something just thrown in there, it was really well backed up by the story. I thought it was very clever how you cut the text off, not giving time to finish the descriptions.
Anyway, that's it for me yapping, I just thought it was a really good and well-made game, especially considering the strict limitations of O2A2!
