the demo isnt meant to be a demo, its only there for compatibility testing to make sure the game actually works with your hardware before you pay for it
he allowed demo play to test if your microphone setup works for the game since the code for it is old and hard to implement bug fixes on it, better than spending $5 and realizing it doesnt work lol
