For the platforms i'm pretty sure it's normal if you mean it's grey, just the colour everything has when in its early stage.
For walking, i have gotten that complaint before, i'll see if i can just add regular walking...
And for the camera being too close thing, if you haven't tried scrolling away, it's probably a UI problem.
