This was interesting, fun and silly. I just found it a little hard guessing if a card was going to make the the gauges go up or down and some were silly in a fun way and some were silly in a I don't get how this affects anything way like the parrot "are you the devil" response moving all the bars a bit.
Games don't have to be fair, but they should feel fair for the player and this one felt just a tiny shy.
Great job though it was fun!

Yes, that's intentional. The gauges only show the approximate amount of the change, but not the direction - sometimes you can derive it from the context, but other times, you just have to trust your piratey luck and swipe! Worst case, you'll find out a new way to die :)
(The "are you the Devil?" bit is an easter egg reference to the recurring catchphrase from the Reigns series that inspired this game)
