This was so beautiful, stunning, mystifying, terrifying... I'm in complete awe. The sound design scared me. The music selections are fantastic, with Frog Friends' piece being a real standout. The art is beautiful... some scenes genuinely brought me to the verge of tears. By the end I was shaking.... I just absolutely fell into this story. You've distilled so much of what I like about mermaids and what they can be about. Mairi is cute, mysterious and tragic.. and Amelia feels real and ungrounded in her life. They're both so fantastic.
